Micaiah is one of my heroes of the Bible.

Setting: Ahab and Jehoshaphat had an alliance to fight to recover Ramoth-Gilead. Ahab was the king of Israelk and very wicked. King Jehoshaphat was a very godly king and desired to get counsel from the Lord concerninig this battle. Ahab called in prophets (some four hundred of them) and they said God wiull give them the victory. Jehoshaphat was not convinced so he asked for a prophet from God. Ahab said that there was this prophet Micaiah, but he never prophesied anything but trouble for him.

Micaiah came in and and said that he would say only what God wanted him to say. When he was asked whether they should go and attack Ramoth-Gilead, Micaiah answered sarcastically that they should go up and attack and they would win! Ahab realized this and told him sharply to speak only the truth. Micaiah said in a vision that all Israel would be scatteresd like sheep Their master, Ahab had been killed end them ome in peace. Ahab ordered that Micaiah be put in prison and fed only bread and water until he returned from battle!

Micaiah was faithful to proclamation of the Word of God and this came through that Ahab was killed by a random arrow.
