Paul's Third Missionary Journey
Paul's Third Missionary Journey
Acts 18.24-28
This is the beginning of the Third Missionary Journey. Starting from Antioch which was the home base of the missionaries to throughiut the rgions of Galatia and Phrygia, strenghtening the disciples . Paul met Apollos, who was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor[a] and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. Apollos had the right type of knowledge but he did not experience the power of the Holy Spirit in his life. His baptism was based on the repentance of John rather than on faith in the work that Chirst had accomplished on the cross.
Acts 19
Paul went to Ephesus. He explain the baptism of the Holy Spirit to them. The disciples at Ephesus were baptized based on the repentance of John rather than on faith in the work that Chirst had accomplished on the cross.
Verse to meditate on: 8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.
