Ahab and Jezebel and their family seem to be propsperous and getting their own way. But it was their influence that turn the people of Israel away from God and toward Baal. Sin only has a season and then God will judge that sin. They reap what they sowed in their lives and paid very dearly for it. In the same way we think that we will get away with the lifestyle that we are now living but beware that sin will find us out.

Lydia was the first of Paul's convert in Philippi.

This passage in Acts 16 has the famous quote from the Philippian jailor, 'What must I do to be saved.' Paul said, Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.
